Imtiaz Ahmed is Professor of International Relations and Director, Centre for Genocide Studies at the University of Dhaka. His most recent publications are Historicizing 1971 Genocide: State versus Person (Dhaka: University Press Limited, 2009) and a co-edited volume titled: Contemporarising Tagore and the World (Dhaka: The University Press Limited, 2013).

Ismat Ara (born 1977) Studied Philosophy in Jahangirnagar University, Bangladesh and Public Policy in Murdoch University, Australia. Currently she is working as an Assistant Professor at Govt. Bangla College, Dhaka. She is interested in agriculture policy, governance, food security and socio-economic impact of shifting agricultural pattern, Bangladesh.

Jahan Ara Siddiqui a renowned writer. Joined Bangladesh Civil Service in 1981. Leading Publishers in Kolkata have published more then 20 of her books. Her writing have also been translated in Hindi and English in India and of late in Bangladesh. She is presently working as Member (Customs Intelligence). National Board of Revenue, Dhaka.
